Desert pack是為了更長時間路途，較重的承載量而設計的。它比V2有稍微大的內部容積，也是Pa’lante四款背包最大容量的一款，分別達到37L 及 43L 。應對長途步行和需要肩膀負重的環境，非常適合普通的遠足旅行或者露營者使用。
